We are very happy to present you our beautiful video for Ghosts from our album “The Color Atlas”. The video in itself is a color atlas made by Elisa Cucinelli.
The video was shot in Egypt, Germany, China and Hong Kong. The places and cities like Cairo, Berlin, Beijing and Hong Kong are sorted by colors and time of day.

The Color Atlas creates instant poetic associations. But it refers to something much more prosaic. A color atlas catalogues the colors of the world in clearly defined units and promises a certain order and control over the world. Even if this order is nothing but order and represents nothing really meaningful. Often it is also the first step for the possible commercialization of the world. The attempt is made to dominate and domesticate the world through order.

On the other hand, the experience of color is something subjective, historical and cultural, and the experiences are only partially repeatable, if at all. The video to GHOSTS exemplifies and plays with these ideas. The colors of the world are the protagonists of the video. In doing so, shots of urban, suburban and rural areas and nature shots are equally possible side by side. Landscape shots and zooms on individual objects are equally represented.
